Next Tuesday, February 4, the Hoy No Circula program will be in effect in the 16 municipalities of Mexico City and in 18 neighboring municipalities of the State of Mexico. It has been indicated that all cars with a pink sticker, license plate endings 7 and 8, and that have hologram 1 or 2 must stay sheltered at home that day.
According to official information, there will be no double Hoy No Circula for this Tuesday, as there are no significant problems with ozone particles and the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued alerts for poor air quality. The program is activated only in case of environmental contingency to reduce pollution.
The vehicles that will be allowed to circulate on Tuesday, February 4, include electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological registration or exempt hologram, those with hologram "00" or "0", vehicles used by medical, health, and funeral service personnel with valid hologram, school and funeral transport, cars for authorized persons with disabilities, as well as public passenger service vehicles that comply with current verification provisions, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass or granted by the Secretary of Environment, and those with red, blue, yellow, and green stickers.
